Lucid Dreaming Techniques

luciddreaming

In order to begin lucid dreaming, you’ve got to actually start remembering your dreams. Many people consider dreaming simply something that happens when you get a decent night’s sleep, but when you’ve learned some lucid dreaming techniques, the dreams you have can be a much more powerful tool.

Lucid dreams can help you work out problems, cope with stressful situations, and even help you run potential scenarios for difficult choices you might have in the upcoming days. If you’re ready to take advantage of your dream time, then here’s some places for you to start.

DILD Lucid Dreaming Techniques

DILD, or dream induced lucid dreaming, is the place to begin practicing the concept of using dreams to your advantage if you’ve never done it before. Have you ever been in a dream and then realized that you were dreaming because the reality of your dream seemed altered?

That’s the beginning of starting a lucid dream! As you are starting to practice this, or entrain your brain to accept lucid dreaming, you can begin to test each dream to determine if you are really dreaming so that you can start the lucid process. You can do this by:

  • looking for signs of unreality within your dream,
  • changing your sleep cycle to have more morning REM sleep, and by
  • using other lucid induction methods, such as SILD or MILD.

What is guided meditation?

what is guided meditation

What is guided meditation? In a nutshell, it is allowing someone to assist you with your meditation so that you can achieve a greater or deeper success than you could do on your own.

Have you always wanted to try meditation, but weren’t able to achieve any results? Are you just starting to learn about the benefits that meditation can bring and aren’t sure where to start?

Whatever your personal circumstances may be, guided meditation is a fantastic way to begin living life to its fullest, to start enhancing your sense of self, and to transform your personal perspective.

Guided Meditation Starts with Positive Suggestion

When you make the choice to begin guided meditation, you can either do it in a class session or in an individual session – whichever makes you more comfortable.

As you settle into a comfortable position and begin to open up your mind, your guide will help you transition into a meditative state by offering you several visualization exercises that will push you further toward a meditative state.

Your stress will begin to fade, your mind will become clearer, and you will be much more open to positive suggestions. That’s where the power of a guided meditation comes into play.

Guided Meditation Is About Discipline

For some people, it can be extremely difficult to achieve a meditative state at first because their mind just races through chores, memories, and other events. Meditation teaches that as these thoughts come to mind, you’re supposed to push them outside of your consciousness, but let’s be honest – that’s not always easy to do.

With guided meditation, you essentially get a teammate that will help you focus on something besides your racing thoughts. As you listen to instructions and focus on following them, you have a way to be able to achieve better results because you are working on disciplining your mind to do what it needs to do.

The Power of the Subconscious Mind

The Power of the Subconscious Mind

Can you really experience the POWER OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND when you are awake?

Many people have already without realizing it.

For instance – have you ever had a moment of dejavu?

Have you ever spent time praying, meditating, or reflecting about a specific situation, illness, or problem to only then find the resolution of that problem answered almost immediately afterward?

These instances, and many others, are prime examples of the accidental use of the subconscious mind.

What would happen if you could harness that power and use it whenever you wanted to use it?

How could that potentially change your life?

Why Is There POWER IN THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND?

The human brain could be one of the most unique pieces of natural engineering that has ever been created.

It’s essentially like a supercomputer that has unlimited high speed hard drives attached to it.

Everything you say, think, do, or see is recorded onto all of these different hard drives.

Now we don’t access all of these different drives all of the time because all of that information would completely overwhelm us.

It’s there, however, whenever we need to access that information, such as a special memory, a favorite taste or smell, or the love you experience with family and friends.

Every single experience you have is recorded, stored, and awaiting the time when you may need to access that experience later on in life.

This Is How the SUBCONSCIOUS MIND INFLUENCES ACTIONS

How can a piano player be able to play multiple chords on multiple octaves using three or four fingers on each hand in the span of seconds?

How can soldiers be able to respond quicker than their reflexes allow during dangerous combat situations?

The answer lies in the subconscious mind.

90% of your actions are not really actions at all, but routines that you perform every day.

You drive to work. You train for emergencies. You type articles out on your laptop without looking at the keyboard.

The more you do these things, the better you are at them because the power of the subconscious mind lies in the fact that you are feeding it the information it needs.

What are Alpha Brain Waves?

What are alpha brain waves

They are a small portion of the building blocks that have composed the human brain.

Brain waves are generated by the individual neuron cells that communicate with each other via electrical changes.

When these electrical changes are measured, they are measured in cycles per second.

That’s where the “wave” terminology came into being – when these changes are placed into visual form, the frequencies will actually form a wave.

What Distinguishes ALPHA BRAIN WAVES?

Alpha brain waves are by definition between the frequencies of 8 Hertz [Hz] & 12 Hz.

Though sometimes they can be found exclusively in the right hemisphere of the brain, it is more common to see alpha brain waves connecting both the left and right hemispheres of the brain.

These brain waves appear during times of relaxation or creativity.

Essentially, if you are working on relaxing in some way, you are working on the generation of alpha brain waves within your mind.

ALPHA BRAIN WAVES Are the Safest to Entrain

Many of the positive emotions that we think about having get generated by alpha brain waves.

On the other hand, many of the negative emotions that we experience get generated from our beta brain waves as we deal with the stresses of the day.

It’s important to give the mind a break, which is why it’s important to recognize that it is possible to entrain the brain to generate alpha waves.

It’s a simple way to help your brain… and the rest of your body relax.

Did you know that people who tend to be extroverted also tend to have more alpha waves?

Scientists believe that outgoing people have up to 3 times the amount of alpha brain waves as introverted people do.

Is it easy to get yourself to be more outgoing? Of course not.

Is there a benefit in working through the issues you may have so you can experience more alpha waves? Absolutely.

There are other ways to help entrain your brain to produce more alpha waves too.

How to Astral Project?

Images_astral-projectionDo you want to learn how to astral project?

Have you always thought of yourself as more of a physical being?

Have you always wondered what life is like outside of the physical realm?

If so, then you’ve already taken the first step toward the benefits of astral projection.

When learning how to astral project, you’re also learning how to tap into your spiritual side.

You’re empowering yourself to enhance your personal development.

In a sense, you’re working toward tapping into what the world truly is instead of accepting the world for what is just seen through the eyes.

Is Astral Projection Real or Just Fantasy – Click Here

Learning HOW TO ASTRAL PROJECT Isn’t About Becoming a New Being

Many people think of astral projection as a pseudo-science.

In other words, it might be possible to separate the consciousness from the body, but since the experience is difficult to study from a clinical standpoint, it does not become a verifiable fact.

If you look back into history, however, you can find documented instances of the Egyptians and the Greeks utilizing concepts of astral projection to experience more than just what the physical realm has to offer.

What holds many people back when learning how to astral project is the same thing that hold people back in other aspects of spirituality: a limited view.

Humans tend to want to understand everything and so we create little mental boxes to place large concepts into because in our view, that brings it down to our level and makes it easier to understand.

We place God into a box. We place faith into a box. We place spirituality into a box.

When we do this, what we are doing is limiting our own personal potential for success.

If God is placed into a box that we try to understand, then we are limiting the power of God in our lives.

If we are learning how to astral project and place those concepts into a box in an attempt to understand the process, then we are limiting our ability to understand the spiritual realm better.

Does Brainwave Entrainment Work and Is It Right For You?

Does brainwave entrainment work

Every night when you come home from work, you’re feeling stressed out from the day, from the traffic, and from the housework that you’ve been putting off for days now.

Your day didn’t go as you planned it, and maybe someone else got that promotion that you’ve been working hard to obtain.

Every night seems to last longer and longer because you just can’t seem to unwind like you used to be able to do. It’s grinding you down, you’re not sleeping much, and you feel like you’re running out of options.

Could brainwave entrainment work to help you get out of this mess?

Brainwave Entrainment Music For Focus, Relaxation and Joy

Brainwave Entrainment Really Works!

Have you ever heard of lucid dreaming? It’s essentially a concept where you can control what you dream about by thinking about a specific person, topic, or place as you are falling asleep.

Your subconscious mind, when it reaches it’s maximum restorative states in dreaming sleep, then takes that suggestion and runs with it.

Brainwave entrainment is able to work on a similar concept. Without years of practice and expert instruction, it is virtually impossible for the average person to be able to tap into these sleeping brain states that help us become the best we can possibly be.

Through brainwave entrainment, however, we can all tap into this sleeping state of mind while awake.

What is Brainwave Entrainment and Is It For You?

Fotolia_27559982_XS (2)Chances are that you’ve used brainwave entrainment at least once in your life, even if you’ve never realized it.

It is a simple way to relax after a stressful day, unwind your thoughts, or even prepare yourself for a difficult day ahead.

Some people, with repeated use of brainwave entrainment techniques, report feeling or even looking younger.

Many can manage their emotions better, which, in turn, helps them to manage their relationships, important decisions, and even finances more effectively.

Far from sounding too good to be true, brainwave entrainment has clinical research backing up these claims and more.

How Does Brainwave Entrainment Work?

The human brain is considered by many to be the best supercomputer ever created.

It’s billions of cells, called neurons, that actually fire electrical signals across the brain to create neural pathways.

These pathways then become how we each uniquely perceive the mental, physical, emotional, and even spiritual world.

Just like a computer can operate in a peak efficiency state when you’ve got the performance factors maximized, the same is true for the human brain.

Does your laptop might run a little faster if you shut down a few programs?

The human brain reaches peak performance during times of dreaming sleep in terms of creativity and problem-solving, while dreamless sleep tends to have our body secrete certain hormones.

Can you tap into these sleeping periods of peak performance during your waking hours? The answer is yes when you use brainwave entrainment.

Is Lucid Dreaming Dangerous? Find Out If It’s Safe For You!

Is Lucid Dreaming Dangerous

One may not really think twice about the effects of dreaming, but what happens when you attempt to control your dreams?

Lucid dreaming is the practice of dreaming while maintaining consciousness so as to control your dreams.

This means you have the freedom to create worlds, do anything you can imagine doing, go where you want to go and do it all from the comfort of your bed.

While this sounds exciting and wondrous, many wonder if there are any dangers associated with such practices.

In other words: is lucid dreaming dangerous for us?

Lets take a look at the answers to this question.

>>> Lucid Dreaming Academy <<<

Effects of Lucid Dreaming

For most individuals, at some point, they are likely to experience a type of lucid dream.

While dreaming you may find yourself saying something like ‘this is just a dream’ or ‘I must be dreaming’.

For the most part, this is basically a lucid dream.

You are aware of the fact that you are indeed asleep and what you are experiencing is not real.

Those who experience conscious dreams and employ the use of supplements or tricks to help initiate the process feel as though they benefit.

Most claim to have deeper, more restful sleep.

Others who have fears, phobias or persistent nightmares find that through controlling their dreams, they can conquer these things.

Physically, there are no real documented changes, just that participants felt less stress.

How to Lucid Dream – Part II

lucid-dreams-140

Do you want to learn how to lucid dream and explore your dream worlds? I’m sure you do. Having control over your dreams means you are able to create worlds and are free to explore anything your imagination allows you to.  Quite literally, your imagination sets the limit on worlds and experiences you can create inside your own mind.

Techniques used to achieve lucid dreams vary as do the products that claim to help individuals achieve this kind of consciousness during sleep.  Basic techniques, proposed benefits and the like were discussed previously.  Here is a further look at how one can lucid dream.  Described below are other tips, tricks, products and aids to learning how to induce a lucid dream

Using what is already known and well established on brain patterns and function has helped marketers develop products that can help induce sleep, and more specifically, dreams.  Theta brain waves are large, low frequency currents produced by the brain during deep relaxation and they are associated with sleep.

Not only is the mind and body in a sleep state, it is also in dream mode.  By helping the brain naturally fall into this state, one can begin to learn how to lucid dream.  Theta waves also increase creativity and inspiration – things that will come in handy when planning out your next dream-scape.

There are a couple products out on the market that claim to help the brain relax into this theta/sleep state.  One is a binaural beats program and the other is called isochronic tones.

Lucid Dreaming Academy

How to Lucid Dream Using Binaural Beats and Isochronic Tones

First off, the binaural beats program is simply two differing sound waves that make the brain fall into a theta pattern.  How is this accomplished?  A sine wave generator gives off two different frequencies.  One in one ear and one in the other.

The brain takes the difference between these frequencies and creates a third wave – a theta wave.  By listening to CDs or downloads with specific theta programed binaural beats, you can  put yourself into a deep relaxed and ready to dream state.

Accessing Your Theta Brain Waves

what are theta brain waves

Why would anyone want to access their theta brain waves

That is a very good question, one that we have looked into extensively.

Our complex, intricate and little understood brain holds a wealth of information that is largely inaccessible to our conscious state of mind.

There are pathways of communication, as it were, that can help us tap into this store house and harness some of its benefits.

Theta waves can help individuals improve things like memory and learning.

Certain activities can help you increase your theta wave activity in a healthy way.

How does it work and how can you make it work for you?

Why Access Your THETA BRAIN WAVES?

Brain waves are nothing new, scientists and doctors have long used and studied our wave patterns.

Theta waves are low frequency waves that are associated with deep relaxation, drowsiness and sleep.

Why would you want to increase the amount of theta you already have?

Simply because it can reduce stress and improve things like: learning ability, creativity and emotional connectedness.

As has been previously noted, all four of the main brain wave frequencies are necessary in a healthy, functioning brain.

However, there are some advantages to increasing your theta.  Here are a few of the well documented findings to an increase of theta brain wave activity.

The Power of Theta Brain Waves

Theta Brain Waves

The power of theta brain waves can be channeled in a way that brings lasting benefits.

Increased memory, less stress and a better capacity for learning are all ways that theta waves can improve our lives.  Before we can explain what the power of these waves is, its best to begin with what they actually are.

Once a foundation is laid, it will be easier to understand what these brain waves can do and how you can use them to improve your health and well-being.  So, what are they?

Theta brain waves are one of 4 wave frequencies found in a healthy individual.  Alpha, beta and delta make up the other three.

Delta is the slowest wave form and theta follows right behind.  No one wave is better than another and all are needed for proper function and development.

Normally, theta will appear or is associated with extreme relaxation, sleep or drowsiness.  These slow, high amplitude waves appear during activities such as meditation.

Generally, one feels a sense of peace and calm when the brain kicks into theta gear.  All four of these waves can be read on an EEG and have been studied for many years.

What is it then that makes the theta wave one of interest?  What can the power of these waves do for you?
