If you want love and abundance in your life, give it away. Mark Twain
You may have an abundance block in place and not even realize it.
An abundance block is something that holds you back from achieving your full potential.
Instead of living a life of prosperity, you decide to make compromises.
These compromises are based on certain thoughts or beliefs.
They work to diminish your way of life, which prevents you from achieving a life goal or dream you may have.
That means an abundance block is a learned habit.
To quote a famous line from the Star Wars franchise, “You must unlearn what you have learned.”
With Unlimited Abundance, a course offered by Mindvalley and best-selling author Christie Marie Sheldon, the goal is to do just that.
This course is designed to help you eliminate the energies which clutter your systems.
It will help you find a way to make a fresh start because you learn how to make space for new, abundant energies.
As with any system or course like this, there is an element of personal use which influences its effectiveness.
It is not a one-size-fits-all system.
You must have negative energy systems or abundance blocks in place and want to change that for this course to be effective.
That is why there is a 30-day money back guarantee with the Unlimited Abundance program.
Here is my experience with it.
What Are the Basics of the Unlimited Abundance Course?
When you purchase the Unlimited Abundance course from Mindvalley, you will find an extensive amount of content at your disposal.
There are two ways to learn from this course.
You can listen to the complete audio collection of the course or read the transcripts of the audio. Use whichever methods helps you retain information in a better way.
In total, there are 25 sessions for you to review, which includes the 24 abundance blocks which Sheldon identifies and a bonus Q&A session.
If you download the full transcript of the course, you will have access to over 600 pages of information.
You can also download the Unlimited Abundance pdf workbook.
This is not a course that you will be able to complete in a day.
When I went through the session list for the first time, I found that some of them didn’t seem to apply immediately to me. You may have the same experience.
Some people may be affected by indecision. Others may struggle with family blocks or feel stuck in their lives.
I found it useful to take a day to review the basics of each abundance block. That way, I could determine which ones were making the greatest impact on my life.
There is also a benefit in progressing through each session, a day at a time, to begin learning more about who you are as a person.
My experience is that there are abundance blocks in place that you may not even think about because they are such an engrained part of who you are.

Self-Identification Is the First Step of This Course
The Unlimited Abundance course teaches that an abundance block may come from anywhere in your life.
These blocks may be present because of your friends, your parents, your favorite television shows, or even the government.
Money is often compared to evil.
If you came from a religious household, then you may have been taught that a person cannot have two masters. You must choose either God or money.
You may have had parents complain about how rich your neighbors were while growing up.
They may have talked about how becoming rich was an unethical practice.
I know in school, there were always comments about how to find success, you had to work hard for it.
These observations are often offered in innocence.
They are words of advice that are meant to help us succeed at what we choose to do in life.
Unfortunately, these also become abundance blocks.
When we relate to these words of advice from the past in some way, it becomes an influence on our core values.
We stop working to become rich because we relate it to something that is “bad.”
We then fear what the outcome would be if we decide to pursue the wealth and opportunity that is waiting for us.
Because of that fear, we then subconsciously move away from those opportunities to avoid being judged.
If left unchecked, abundance blocks can make us achieve less in life over time, when we should be working to achieve more.
That is why the first step of this Mindvalley course is to identify the abundance blocks that are in your life right now.
There are 24 abundance blocks which have been identified.
Then you are presented with choices which allow you to begin clearing each abundance block.
You may have only one abundance block, or you may have several. Once they are identified, you can begin to do something about them.
When I went through this course, there were several abundance blocks with which I could identify certain thoughts, choices, or action trends in my life.
Here's a list of the abundance blocks that can be cleared during the course: 1. clearing resistance, 2. clearing doubt & fear, 3. clearing the fear of change, 4. clearing fear of rejection, 5. clearing fear of numbers, 6. clearing fear of scarcity, 7. clearing money zapping decisions, 8. clearing fear of growth, 9. clearing fear of success, 10. clearing feeling stuck, 11. clearing indecision, 12. clearing disempowering values, 13. clearing your future vision, 14. clearing clutter, 15. clearing blocks to welcoming abundance, 16. clearing family blocks, 17. clearing blame, 18. clearing access to your greatest self, 19. clearing the path to your future self, 20. clearing lack of self-worth, 21. clearing profit blocks, 22. clearing self-sabotage, 23. clearing your financial mess, 24. clearing financial illusions.
For the purpose of this review, I’ll share my story in dealing with Abundance Block #17: Clearing Blame.
How to Clear Abundance Blocks
I really struggle with blame. It is something that creeps up on me, even when I try to ignore it or push it away.
Sometimes I blame others, but often I blame myself.
Think of it like this. You’re taking a nice drive down a deserted stretch of road.
As you approach an intersection, a vehicle turns right into your path, forcing you to slam on your brakes.
Blame now has two options for you. Do you blame the other driver for being careless?
Or do you blame yourself for driving down the road in the first place?
When such an incident happens, I feel hot anger begin to build inside my chest. This emotion wants to explode in a rage of blame.
Then I yell at the person who affected me, even if there is no way for them to hear me.
I might pound the wall, my leg, or the steering wheel if I am in my vehicle.
I might criticize myself instead. I might yell at myself in my mind about all the stupid choices I’ve made that led me to this moment.
Blame can get so bad that you can’t even look at yourself in the mirror sometimes.
With the Unlimited Abundance course, I was told to locate the specific patterns or programs that take my life off its intended path. Then I am asked to “crush them.”
To get started, I was asked to take a look at the circumstances which cause me to assign blame in the first place.
I needed to analyze why I was assigning blame, how I assign it, and then work toward clearing the abundance blockage that forces me to blame myself or others when unexpected things happen.
Then I worked to look deep inside myself to learn the key characteristic that triggers my need for blame.
When this trigger is identified, then it can be eliminated.
That process empowers you to take pride in your choices instead of feeling shame for them.
“If you’re placing blame,” Sheldon says, “then you’re giving away your power.”
If you are in the habit of blaming something, then you are not looking at the patterns which created the problem in the first place.
Using the example above, it might seem logical to blame the other driver for not spotting you coming down the road. It may seem logical to blame yourself.
The issue here is that you are taking your awareness, then giving it to someone else.
Placing blame misidentifies the cause of the issue.
What if the other driver was in a hurry because they had a family emergency?
What if they grew up in an environment where this was considered normal driving?
What if they were blaming themselves for something that already happened and were focusing on that instead of the road?
Knowing how to clear out abundance blocks requires you to have a total awareness of the situation.
You must take the energy which is generated, then shift it toward an attempt to change the situation.
It is a process of “uncreation.”
The foundation of this process is self-responsibility. When you become aware of the patterns which are creating an abundance block, you must acknowledge them.
You must forgive yourself for making choices that may have held yourself back.
Then you must begin to clear them.
You can do that by asking yourself this question: what would it take?
Think about the goals that you have for yourself. Look at the dreams you want to chase. What would it take for you to reach those goals?
This Mindvalley course has you look at the specific elements of what it will take to reach the desired outcome.
In the Blame Abundance Block, one item that really stood out for me was what it would take to create a business right now.
“What would it take for you to find a new job that’s profitable, happy, alive, well, now?” Sheldon asks. “What would it take for any new business idea that you need to show up for right now?”
When you outline the steps you must take, you will encounter the abundance blocks that are built into your system.
You will literally feel resistance to the outlined steps when there is a block in place.
This is where the process of “uncreation” begins. You uncreate, then you delete, and then you destroy.
It is an ongoing process. Every time you encounter resistance, you must follow those three steps.
Over time, this becomes a habit.
Instead of focusing on the fear, you begin to focus on achieving your desired outcomes and manifesting your dreams into reality.
When you make that transfer, you begin to take responsibility for your own reality. There is no more blame. There are no more excuses.
You get a fresh start that leads you toward success. Keep pressing on with your action plan to reach your dreams.
I have found that it is not always easy to clear away the negative energies that are associated with blame.
I don’t always get it right. I can say that with a heightened focus on my own choices and reactions, I find myself blaming myself or others less and working toward positive outcomes more.
How to Create Abundance in Your Life
This one fact really had a tremendous impact on me: any time you are following an abundance block, you are lowering yourself to the model which someone else has dictated for your life.
To attract and create abundance, you must stop lowering yourself to the expectations that other people set for themselves, then press upon you.
That is what the uncreate and delete process is all about in the Unlimited Abundance course.
Even if you’re not sure what your next step should be when dealing with an abundance block, follow the uncreate, delete, and destroy process.
Many times, the reason why you’re unsure of what should happen next is because of the presence of an abundance block.
Then you must reflect upon what it will take for you to achieve the success that you want.
Ask yourself specific questions about the abundance you wish to achieve. See the steps that you must take to reach that success.
When you can do that, then you are able to take the next step forward.
Now, if you’re like me, this three-step process of uncreate, delete, and destroy starts to feel old and stale over time.
It makes you feel like you hit a wall. You might even feel like giving up.
This is evidence of another abundance block in place. Sheldon suggests that the act of giving up is a family-related abundance block that acts on a subconscious level.
One way out of that pattern is to look at the situation in a different way.
Think about what you could achieve for your community in the next 3-6 months. Or think about how you could contribute to the success of your family.
Outline the steps you must take. Identify the resistance you feel. Then delete it, destroy it, and make those steps happen.
That is how you create abundance. You find what holds you back, identify the trigger which stops you from acting, and then you choose to act.
It sounds like a simple process. I can testify that it is one that is very difficult.
That is because there is a personal energy signature, with a specific frequency, within each of us.
Abundance blocks create low-frequency signatures, which attract negative emotions.
High-frequency energies attract positive emotions.
Have you heard the phrase, “Misery loves company”?
We harmonize with our environment. Our frequencies become in-tune with those around us.
That is why these abundance blocks form in the first place.
The universe is impartial. It allows you to decide if you want to succeed or you want to fail.
It responds to the choices we make.
That is why making the choice to remove abundance blocks is powerful.
It is a decision to change the actual frequency of your life’s energy.
Can I Recognize If I Have Low Frequencies?
There is an easy way to tell if you have an abundance block affecting the choices you make.
Instead of using the words “I can,” “I will,” or “I do,” your speech tends to use the words “I can’t,” “I need,” or “I don’t.”
You might wish for things to change in your life. You might feel like opportunities never come your way.
Every thought, every observation offers the potential of becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.
If you feel like life never gives you a break, then you are limiting the abundance that can be brought into your life.
Now I am unable to speak for others, but I can speak about my own experiences with this negative energy.
I have found that there are specific triggers which take me away from the positive, high-frequency signatures to lower frequencies.
I suspect you have specific triggers that do the same thing.
Some of these triggers are based on actual fears.
I have a friend, for example, who absolutely hates to fly.
He will not step foot onto an airplane. You could pay him $1 million to circle an airport once and he would not do it.
Is he afraid of heights? No.
My friend used to work for an airline. He loaded baggage, helped to clean the planes, and did some light maintenance work.
One day, when he was loading luggage in the back of the airplane, his co-worker didn’t realize he was back there.
They shut the compartment and told the pilot that the plane was loaded and ready for takeoff.
My friend didn’t have a radio with him. The space was dark and cold. He was forced to bang on the roof of the luggage compartment, hoping that someone would hear him.
Thankfully, a passenger near the back heard the thumping and alerted the flight attendant.
The flight attendant told the pilot, who then relayed the information to the support crew.
If he hadn’t been freed from the small compartment, there is a good chance my friend might have died.
When he steps onto an airplane, my friend’s trigger about flying isn’t a fear of heights or a fear of crashing.
His trigger is the memory of that incident.
Now we can all get a laugh when he tells us that story. What I have noticed, however, is that the energy produced when he recounts this tale begins to affect those who are hearing it.
His desire not to fly creates a desire in others not to fly as well.
From this experience, I have found that it is possible to identify low-frequency energies in your life.
This is possible even if you feel like there isn’t an abundance block which could be affecting you.
I like to think about it like this.
Imagine yourself at a party. You don’t know anyone there. Who are the people you find yourself gravitating toward?
For some, physical attraction is the top priority.
You might find yourself drawn to people who communicate openness with their body language.
You might like what someone is wearing.
For others, you might be drawn to the conversation that someone is having. Perhaps there is a funny joke being told or an interesting story is being shared.
You might also be one of those people who would decide to find a quiet corner with a favorite drink and let the room come to you.
You would be happy with company or on your own for the entire party.
By recognizing what attracts your positive emotions, you can recognize what tunes your frequencies higher.
That allows you to overcome the abundance blocks in your life over time.
You begin to break the cycles which low-frequency energies produce.
How Can I Know if I am Ready for Unlimited Abundance?
Sheldon offers three questions for you to consider.
If the questions resonate with you, then the Unlimited Abundance course from Mindvalley might be the right investment to make.
1. Do you believe that abundance and wealth are tied to your current state of mind?
2. If so, do you think that you would benefit from a process where an enhancement of your consciousness and state of mind creates an ability to attract prosperity and wealth?
3. If that interests you, would you make time for it if you knew this process would only take a few sessions, which could provide benefits throughout the rest of your life?
That first question is the most important one. Only those who have an open mind to this process are going to benefit from the 24 sessions that cover abundance blocks.
You must be willing to change for any changes to occur.
It is okay to be skeptical of this course.
I find myself feeling skeptical of any course that discusses concepts like this.
There are a lot of scams out there. Lots of people who are trying to get rich quickly peddle concepts like these as a form of self-help or guidance.
Being skeptical is different than being closed-minded.
Then you must make this course a priority for it to be effective.
I found the information to be most effective for me when I made time to review course materials at the start of my day.
That allowed me to think about the information Sheldon shared over the session I covered, which allowed me to identify the abundance blocks I would encounter throughout the day.
For some people, the abundance blocks they carry are part of how they define themselves.
You might think something like, “I don’t deserve to prosper.”
If you are unwilling to let go of that definition of yourself, then this course will not help you.
Like this example from Luke 18 in the Bible (which is also found in Matthew 19 and Mark 10).
“For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.”
If this Bible verse is used in this context, it ties the idea of eternal salvation to the amount of wealth one has.
If you are rich, then eternal life is not for you.
That is a powerful motivator not to be rich, especially when there are other verses which tell you not to serve two masters, as discussed before.
I think it is important to remember that this verse is often taken out of context. There are two verses which follow this.
“They who heard it said, ‘Then who can be saved?’ But Jesus said, ‘The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
The discussions in the Bible about money aren’t actually about money. They are about the priorities of the heart.
People teach that money is evil because they want as much wealth and prosperity as they can achieve.
That is because someone gets money by taking it from others.
To stop money from leaving your pockets, it is only natural to teach people that money is evil.
If other people don’t want it, then you can have it.
Just as one elusive good work cannot be the foundation of a religious experience, one effort to improve personal wealth will not make a lifetime of difference.
It takes a commitment to the Unlimited Abundance course, with an open mind, to create the changes you wish to see.
You must carefully study the materials that are offered. You must apply them to your life.
It is an individual experience that you may find to be useful and enlightening.
It is also possible that you may not find it useful at all.
What I have found out about the Unlimited Abundance course on a personal level is that it offers a practical exploration of what I have defined as personal truths.
It has helped me to see my life in a different way, giving me a chance to explore the convoluted interpretations of wealth that I once took for truth.
It has helped me to make changes for the better.
I do not fully agree with all the concepts being taught in this course. I have the feeling you might experience something similar. I want you to know that feeling that way is okay.
We each have our own unique abundance blocks which need to be resolved – if we’re willing to start that process, that is.
If you’re ready to make changes in your life, then you are ready for Unlimited Abundance.
I found this course to be intriguing and pretty difficult on a personal level.
I also feel like I am better off because of the experiences I was asked to confront.
Now it’s time to make a fresh start. It is time to let the energies of abundance flow in.
